Rebecca Minkoff Julian Backpack
Backpacks have been super on trend lately, and they’re not your Jansport school backpacks. Do kids these days even know what Jansport is? All I wanted every year before school started was a new backpack and I was lucky enough that my mom indulged me every. year. In hindsight, that was super frivolous, but hey, I just had to have that giant pink backpack to put all 7 of my textbooks in, which gave me intense back problems. Yup. The trendy backpacks today are not always about function, but this girl needs to carry a lot of crap with her!
At TBS Con, my friend Lauren had this Rebecca Minkoff Julian Backpack and I fell in love with it. The backpack is made of a black textured leather and has gold zipper details and a large gold hook in the front of the pack. I adore the gold and black, which gives it such a lux look. Plus, the leather won’t scratch, so you don’t have to worry about it!
In addition to being super stylish, I am surprised as how functional it is! There is one large zipper down the front, which opens up to the large section of the bag. It holds an iPad, camera, and water bottle comfortably. Another cool feature is that the large gold hook can clip to the top of the backpack, for more security. There are two side pockets, which I use for chapstick, lipgloss, tissues, etc. and a small back zippered pocket, which lays flat against your back. I use this pocket for more important items, such as my wallet and phone.
This bag has become one of my favorite new accessories, and I love the convenience of just throwing it on my back and running out the door!
