Today, I am finally sharing what Bryan got me for my birthday, plus one of the best tops for Spring. Ok, my birthday was about a month ago, but I had to wait and get some nice pictures of this baby! I have wanted a bucket bag for a long time, since I find it trendy while still classic. Plus, I have an unhealthy obsession with Ted Baker, and I wish I owned every single dress he ever made. If only my wallet could handle that!
Bryan got me the Ted Baker tasseled leather bucket bag and it is so beautiful! I love the simplicity of it, the huge tassels, and the gold details. The strap drop is about 20 inches, and since I am so short, I cinched it up as high it could go. It hits me at my hip, which is perfect, but I can also wear it as a cross body bag. Surprisingly, I can fit so much inside! My keys, wallet, sunglass case, and phone, all go in with ease.
My ONLY complaint about the bag is that it does not have a zipper. Ok, I know what you are saying, come on, Jackie, duh, it’s a bucket bag! But that’s pretty much my point. I have an irrational fear of strangers putting their hand into my bag, so I like zippers. So my complaint isn’t really a complaint if you think about it….:)
If you want to try out the bucket bag trend at a better price point, check out this Old Navy Sueded Bucket Bag, for under $12! What?! Amazing.
Items In This Post
Gibson Ruffled Handkerchief Hem Top (regular and petite, plus tons of colors)
Topshop ‘Jamie’ high-waisted jeans
Marc Fisher ‘Adalyn’ wedges (also here and here)
BaubleBar incognito initial disc pendant
Ted Baker Tasseled leather bucket bag (also in taupe) (great dupe for under $12 here)
I also need to talk about this Gibson top, which is super trendy, comfortable, and affordable. At under $50, it’s a great addition to my Spring wardrobe. I love bell sleeves and the handkerchief hem (short in the front and longer in the back) is so flattering. Gibson is a great quality brand and I always love their pieces. This top comes in a bunch of great colors and patterns for Spring and you can dress it down with jeans or for work, by pairing it with some slim ankle pants.
Enjoy the rest of your week and fingers crossed Mother Nature gets it together, because I need more sunny days like these pictures!

I saw this top on your Instagram earlier this week and was obsessed! Just the right amount of ruffles while still being good for every day wear.
Thanks Charlotte! I love it so much! I hope you are doing well and wishing we could have a baking session! 🙂
