Happy October friends! Can you believe we are officially into the Fall season?? I am in a bit of denial, BUT I do love bringing out my sweaters and jackets. Fall in the DMV can be very unpredictable – we are talking mornings in the 50s/60s, afternoons in the 70s and sunny, and then back to chilly nights. That’s why light jackets are a must-have this time of year. This Caslon Swing Back jacket also doubles as a light rain jacket, so you can’t go wrong with that! I wanted a long rain jacket that was more sophisticated than my North Face and lighter than a trench coat. I picked this jacket up at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, but it’s now back to sale price. At less than $100, it’s a great buy, and one that I can wear next Spring!
The tiny details make this jacket. The metal hardware adds a cool touch. I also really like the cinch-able waist. Lots of coats, especially rain coats can be shapeless. The drawstrings allow you to give it more of a feminine look. For sizing, I’m wearing a Petite Small. The rest of my look is super sport – Adidas tank, leggings, and nike sneaks. I try to look cool…:)
