Happy Thanksgiving Friends! My belly and heart are full of food, holiday cheer, and wine – just how I like it. First off, I am so thankful for many things – my life, my dad and extended family, Bryan, loving friends who are the family members I have chosen, and so much more. Of course, I am thankful for all of you who read my blog, look at my pictures, comment on my posts and Instagram, and who just CARE. It sure makes a girl feel special. I wish each and everyone of you a blessed Turkey Day. When I get sappy, I just babble, so let’s move onto some shopping.
The time has finally come to start Holiday shopping. Luckily, I don’t have too many people on my list. As I have gotten older, my extended family and I don’t exchange gifts. It’s just too much and we’re so giving to each other during the year, that the hassle is not worth it. I buy gifts for my dad, his girlfriend, one of my older aunts, and of course, Bryan. I do have a longer list for Bryan’s side of the family, but this year we set a price limit per couple, so it will be under control! My dad never wants anything, so he is by far the hardest person to shop for. I like to do a silly, but useful gift, for him and his girlfriend. Last year, it was matching Patagonia sweaters. This year, maybe matching PJs?? Well, I’m def going to try and knock out my shopping this weekend (online!). Macy’s is one of my go-to’s for Black Friday and gift shopping, because they have something for everyone AND their sales are always awesome. I’m going to break my picks into gifts for the males, the females, and then of course, gifts for yourself… I mean you deserve to treat ya self too!
