Sleek Black & Soft Lace

Lace Camisole – love thisthis and this

I am so happy to finally share this look!  It is by far, one of my favorite outfits to throw on when I need something cool, sleek, and comfy to go out in.  An all black look can make your inexpensive pieces look expensive, and I love throwing in a feminine top like this lace camisole to soften up the look.

If I had to pick a Top 10 collection from my closet, this jacket/sweater would definitely make the cute.  The sleeves are a smooth cardigan material, the front and back is faux leather without that plastic-y pleather feel, and the inside feels like suede.  I bought this from Zara last year, so I linked a few similar ones for you guys.

Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and is preparing for the New Year!  I am so ready to say deuces to 2016.  There will be a recap of all my holiday festivities soon, but for now, I bring you the Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale.  The Half-Yearly Sale occurs twice a year, in December and May, so it is perfect timing to pick up some goodies for the winter months OR to spend some of that Christmas cash, if you were so lucky.

Did I mention one of my goals for 2017 is to be fiscally responsible?  Perfect timing.  Not.  Oh well, I will just have to window shop and share my picks with you all in hopes that you will buy something pretty and think of me… 🙂

The Next Big Thing – Bell Sleeves

Vince Camuto booties (similar here)

Can we talk about this wall.  It’s at Mosaic District in Merrifield and I am obsessed with it!  So many great colors and words to inspire.  This post is about what of the coolest, or grooviest, trends around, the bell sleeve.  I am seeing them everywhere – in stores and on some of my favorite bloggers.

This sweater is one of my favorite buys from Black Friday.  It has a great bell sleeve, that you can see in the picture below, and it has a subtle design on the front.  It’s so subtle, you can’t even see it in my pictures.  D’oh! Also, forgive my orange glow that I got from the big orange BE next to my face.  Grrr

Ted Baker London Wrap Coat

Ted Baker London Elethea Short Belted Coat in Camel (also available in black, white, hot pink)

Tom Ford ‘Anoushka’ Sunglasses

I am finally sharing this Ted Baker coat that I am so obsessed with.  I had it on my wish list and while B and I were in London, I felt like being fancy, so I bought the coat!  It also helped that the exchange rate was in my favor AND the coat was almost $200 less than if I had bought it in the US.

My coat is in the camel color, which is a beige-y pink.  For Fall and Winter coats, I go with browns and beiges since I wear a lot of black and white.  The color is so beautiful – the pictures do not do it justice.  But can we take a minute to talk about the colors of these leaves??

Happy December Everyone! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and that we are ready to officially welcome in Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa.  I went to Catholic school all my life, so forgive my non-political correctness.

I will fess up and admit that I did a total blogger fail.  I DID NOT post anything about Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals.  My only excuse is that November is the end of my billing year, so I had to work, work, work, work, work (props to you if you sang that like Rihanna).  But I know my fellow blogger friends totally kept you in the loop, so I don’t feel like I left anyone in the dark!
