The Perfect Transitional Blush Blazer and Lace Top

Blush Blazer + Lace Top - Stylista Esquire - @stylistaesquire

Pardon my recent hiatus, but Summer is a doozy and it’s already August!  I can’t even deal.  This month is a busy one for me and probably, also for the rest of you.  I am in no way ready to say good-bye to Summer, BUT I have added a few items to my wardrobe from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale that I can wear now AND in the Fall.  This is going to be my last post about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this year and it’s a good one.  I’m sure you have picked up your most-wanted items, but I’ve rounded up items that are still in stock AND under $100, including my perfectly-fitted Halogen No-Closure Blazer and Chelsea28 Lace Top.

What I’m Wearing

Halogen No-Closure Blazer – under $75 (also available in black, red, and blue)

Chelsea28 Lace Top – under $50 (also available in black and blush)

Topshop Jamie high-waisted jeans

Marc Fisher ‘Adalyn’ espadrille wedges

This blazer fits like a dream and I’m obsessed with it.  I am wearing an XS Petite and the sleeves and length are perfect for a long blazer, without looking like a lab coat!  Side note:  the pockets are fake, which is a bit of a bummer, but I’ll forgive it.  I am seriously contemplating buying it in black because the fit is THAT good.  Plus, it’s under $75 and I will definitely be making it well worth the bargain!

This Chelsea28 Lace Yoke top is one of those items that looked horrendous to me online, but when I tried it on, I was obsessed.  I find it flattering, especially under the blazer and it’s super comfortable.  You can definitely get away with wearing a bralette underneath it. HA.  The top also comes in black and blush, which are my other two go-to colors, so I had a hard time picking which one to get!  I decided on the white, since I can pair it with my blush and black blazers and sweaters for Fall.  For sure, I will be pairing this blazer and top combo with some slim black pants for a work look.

Below, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite items, organized into categories, that are still in stock and under $100.

Tops/Sweaters:  I am contemplating picking up this BP. Asymmetrical Ruffle Tee, as seen on my friend Ashlee before the sale ends.

Active/Outerwear

Shoes:  I bought these Marc Fisher ‘Vidal’ ankle strap sandals and they are so. good. At under a $100, they’re a steal!

I am headed to Chicago on Thursday for The Blog Societies Annual Conference, so follow along to see my first time in Chi-Town! I am sooo excited for some deep dish pizza! Oh, and learning.  Duh!
