It’s official. This BP. Peplum Top is my favorite, looks great, ride-or-die top for Summer. I love a good peplum and this style is so perfect. It hits me at a great spot, which doesn’t make me look like a balloon. The material is a thick linen, with a lining, so it is super lightweight and cool, but at the same time, very structured, which I really like in a peplum top. In my opinion, the high neckline is super flattering on my smaller chested gals. For this top, I wear these Hollywood Fashion Secrets Coverups. They are super comfortable, easy to use, and traceless under dresses and tops! Also, pssh…I’m also going to wear this top in the Fall with either a long cardigan or moto jacket!
What I’m Wearing
BP. Peplum Top – on sale (keep checking Nordstrom’s site, as colors and sizes are always coming in and out!)
Topshop ‘Jamie’ high-waisted jeans
Marc Fisher LTD ‘Adalyn’ Espadrille Wedge Sandal – I’m going to wear these as much as I can until the Fall!
Tom Ford ‘Anoushka’ sunglasses
On this day, Laura and I stopped by Blue Bottle Coffee, which just recently opened up in Georgetown. I have been a fan of Blue Bottle Coffee ever since Bryan and I tried it in San Francisco, so I was super excited for one to open up in D.C. Blue Bottle will be opening up another location at Union Market too! I recommend the New Orleans Style Iced Coffee, which is what they are known for. Yum!
The coffee shop is tucked behind M Street in Georgetown, at 1046 Potomac St NW. The brick exterior and outside setting is so picturesque. It’s perfect after a stroll or bike ride. Fun Fact: I don’t know how to ride a bike. Sad, but true, and no, I probably won’t learn anytime soon. HA!
Below, I’ve rounded up a few other great peplum tops for you! Till the next cup of coffee friends!

Great top, and this look is so versatile going into fall- just add a jacket or cardigan and a switch out wedges for a pair of booties! I haven’t been to Blue Bottle Coffee yet, but can’t wait to try it now!
